A music teacher by trade Gregg Goodhart has found within teaching music the fundamental principles that allow for accelerated improvement commonly referred to as talent. This was a result of serious interest in, and study of, cognitive and behavioral neuroscience and psychology. Using his teaching as a lab to experiment with these ideas he has developed a way to explain to anyone the elements needed to reach whatever level of skill they desire, including just being able to perform whatever it is we are learning with confidence and without fear. His innovative Practiclasses are masterclasses in which longstanding plateaus in our playing are broken in minutes as he teaches the application of the research to each particular problem to the audience. He currently lives in Los Angeles and teaches around the world online as well as visiting institutions at all levels around the country.
