Miranda Wilson
Miranda Wilson is an internationally performing cellist, music journalist, and professor of cello at the University of Idaho. She picked up a cello aged nine and has seldom put it down since, having performed concerts on five continents and released several compact disc and broadcast recordings. Her book “Cello Practice, Cello Performance” addresses the challenges of preparing for high-stakes performances in daily practice. She is a regular contributor to Strings and American String Teacher, and writes a popular blog at her website, mirandawilsoncellist.com. A native of New Zealand, Miranda now lives with her family in Moscow, Idaho.
